July 5, Monday Memo
I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! The freedom we have been granted in America is incredible, especially the freedom to worship God and proclaim Christ, and my prayer is that your celebration filled your heart with gratitude toward God and for your country.
If you participated in a worship service you heard Stephen Hall kick off a series on "The God-Shaped Man." Over the next few weeks, we will take a break from 1 Thessalonians and look at some of the Biblical visions for a godly man. This is aimed to help men but also aimed to encourage and give wisdom to women as well. You can find part 1 of the series here and the book he mentioned, "Raising a Modern-Day Night" can be found here.
A few prayer requests for the church this week also:
-For Keenagers as it relaunches this Wednesday!
-For Andrew as he continues to seek answers and solutions for his back.
-For the wise and godly planning of VBS and the Texas mission trip.
Also, thank you for the prayer for our family. We are almost entirely over our quarantine and looking forward to taking a little family time away this month. I deeply appreciated the texts and emails expressing care and help! We love you and are thankful for your love.
Loving People Toward Jesus,
(Weekly episodes are on pause through the summer. We will be back with some great content come September)
