Monday Memo, September 6, 2021
My heart overflows with gratitude toward the Lord for this past weekend. To be able to worship with my church family in person is a great joy and I absolutely loved seeing so many of you again. Thank you for the prayer and encouragement this past month!
If you were not present and want to catch Stephen Hall's sermon on the relationship between faith and submission to God, you can find it here.
Now, looking forward there are some amazing things happening around Valley.
Willow Grove Family Park Day & Baptisms — This weekend after our worship services we are going to gather at Willow Grove for a handful of baptisms and a church potluck. Valley is supplying hamburgers and hotdogs and we are encouraging each family to bring all the other goodies. Info for what to bring and other details can be found here.
Men of Simplicity — Today is the last day to register for this Fall's Monday Night men's group. If you are "in" send an email to Stephen Hall.
Mom to Mom Fall Kickoff — This is a great opportunity for moms to connect with other moms. The kick-off is the 17th and the regular meetings happen on the first and third Friday of each month. You can find more info here.
Griefshare — Over the last 19 months, many of us have experienced loss. Griefshare is an incredible way to work through the loss and grief we find ourselves carrying around. If you are looking for some help with grief, this ministry may be exactly what you are looking for. The group begins this Thursday and you can find info and leader information here.
